United Quality Publication, Inc. Sales Co. Buckeye Ripped me off of 232.00 not to mention overdraft fees of roughly $500.00 Pensacola, Florida
On Feb.9th 2010 two men approached my door selling magazines,they seemed nice,explaining they were selling magazines and had to earn a certain number of points to win and they work off of commission only.After a few moments of talking on my front porch,they asked to come in so they could show us what magazines they had to offer.It being hot and my husband being home I welcomed them into my home and sat at my kitchen table,had a glass of ice cold water and went over the numerous magazines,cracked jokes, and one of the agents showed pictures of his daughter while asking random questions about my 5 children.
Between my husband and I we chose 4 magazines and took into consideration that we would be assisting these gentlemen in reaching their goal. Our total amount due was $232.00 and were told it would it take 10days to 2wks for checks to be deposited into the businesses account. Checks were cashed on the 17th of Feb.2010,8 days after they were written, so I was sent into overdraft numerous times leaving my bank account in the negative $500.00. This put my family and me in a huge hardship financially and emotionally.
After finally getting my bank account current,I started wondering where my magazines were and found myself with a bogus phone number to leave a message.Doing more research I found out that I had been truely ripped off!!
