The United States Postal Service in Richardson Texas 75080 is horrible. I came across this site and feel it is my civic duty to report the terrible service. I moved here a few month back and do ebay frequently.

First impression of the USPS is a positive one until you speak to one of its members. I have personally been turned down for using their tape. I have had several miss shipments, misdirected shipments, lost shipments, and poor experiences with them already.

Most frequently I was standing in line and was denied tape. I had to go home and get my own small amount of tape and then stand in line forever again. Further, they seem to be illiterate. A sign in the front of the lobby said Wait till called Compoters slow Then on top of all this they are rude and inconsiderate.

Also, I found out that one of my ebay customers has been waiting 2 weeks for a priority package I sent from their facility. Then to top it all off for the last 3 days in a row they have delivered my neighbors mail to me. Not the same neighbors but different ones each day. No big deal but some of the items were ebay, electric bills, and so on.

This makes me feel like they are all brainless and irresponsible. I have called and complained numerous times. How much stuff has to be lost before the government makes a change out here?

I now use USPS online and drop off my things at a different post office but my mail service is still being improperly interrupted. I know how this works. Hit me up with all your comments.

Hey Tim, I used to work as customer service for the USPS and I dunno if you have tried this or not, but you can call 1-800-ASK-USPS(275-8777) and speak with a CSR there and request to either file a complaint to your local Consumer Affairs Office or request to have their number and call them and report these problems you are having with the USPS in your area. They can certainly help you Tim. Thanks.
