United Trucking Corp. Anthony Votta/Michael Change quote after picking up car. Thieves Lighthouse point Florida
I arranged shipping for my daughters car from Colorado with United Trucking ( United Riliable Auto carriers). They quoted me $600 using the JTRACKING system. I spoke with Anthony on the phone and he confirmed total cost would be $600 and no more. He then said there would be a $200 deposit and there would be a $400 COD at delivery due in form of cashiers check or cash. I had Anthony send me this in writing which I printed in PDF format.
When the driver arrived to pickup the car he stated there would be a $600 COD when dropping off car, I got the dispatchers number ( Michael) and called him, he stated that he understood the problen and would take care of it, and to go ahead and ship the car. I let the car go, and forwarded quote email to Michael. He sent me a return email with the quote changed showing no deposit and a $600 COD FEE DUE AT DELIVERY AND TOLD ME THE DEPOSIT WAS ONLY A BROKER FEE. They are lures and deceptive in their business practices.
