My son purchased an Aviator on July 14th, 2011, from Universal Autos come to find out the vehicle had technical and safety faults.  The Very next day July 15th  when he reported the issue and took it back to the the dealer he asked either they fix it or return his money.  The stated they where not able to return the money and they promised to repair.  It has been 4weeks now and yet no vehicle and they keep giving him the runaround and no answer to repairs.  Their own employees have stated they are liars and thieves..... BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALER Used Car Dealership Las Vegas - Universal Auto www.universalautonv.com come to find out a friend of my son is still waiting to get paid for parts after he saved them 50% of the price of parts.  It seems like they give everybody the run around. I feel for you guys. I am sure the bank is going to want his monthly payment agreed upon, but he has NO vehicle anyone know about a Good Attorney in VEGAS?

Warranty?

This often happens when people do not bother to have a prospective new car purchase checked out BEFORE they buy it.   Salesman know they can unload their junk on people who do not bother to protect themselves.

Before looking for an attorney, did the car come with a written warranty?   If not, you'll be wasting your time in NV.    Sales without a warranty are "as is" and your son likely signed a piece of paper to that effect during the sale.

If there is a written warranty and it covers these "technical and safety" issues, I suggest filing against them in small claims court.  That should get their attention.

New York is the only state I know of that protects car buyers who don't bother to protect themselves.

What are the "safety faults"? What reason did they give him for the delay?

"It has been 4weeks"

No, that was 3 weeks ago today.

"Their own employees have stated they are liars and thieves"

Current or former employees?
