Went to Universal Hyundai to have blower in my daughter car replaced on July 17th, 2012. They had me drop off the car after 6:30 pm that night and serviced the car.The next day I picked up the car, had a second key made and drove off with the car. While driving a storm started and the weather was very nasty.I turned on the lights while driving and later learned when I went to stop the break lights were no longer working on the car. It upset the driver behind me who was very hostile' so I turned into an auto parts store to have the lights replaced. The guy came out and checked the the break lights, fuses, break switch and learned that I was driving with no lights at all. He then hooked up to the car and didn't find a single problem wrong with any of them. He told me to call them up and take the car back to the dealership because they must had hooked something up wrong after replacing the blower.

I called and it was after hours,I was told to bring the car in and they would give us a car to use while they check the car out and fix the problem. Hyundai customer service sent me road side towing because the car was not safe to drive back. I asked everyone I spoke with was the car free of charge and was told yes. After checking the car out they claim they replaced a break switch and nothing was wrong with the lights.

After replacing the blower motor on a 5 year old car bought brand new, I was told "this is a very common problem for the to burn up or out and the manufacturing defect happens on a regular bases", is what Kristie stated.
They refused to tell the truth or honor there part and charged me for a rental. Dave Young took the key I had made there and gave us a none working key. Someone at that dealership also loosen the bolts on the driver side of the car. We had those tires replaced at Tire Barn in Indiana brand new. There was no reason for anyone to touch the tires on that car.I am still waiting on a refund from the key today. I will never use them again.

I was dealing with nasty, threating attitudes and people who try to provoke you in to a situation because they are very nasty. I sent someone else up there to deal with them at this point and they said the same thing.
I was informed by Dave they are not going to fix anything they broke, if the blower is not installed correctly get it fixed when I returned home and they were a franchise and didn't have to do or listen to anything Hyundai Corp. office had to say. I had been on the phone and in contact with the corp. office the entire time I was dealing with them.
I am so upset the most that someone loosen the bolts on the tires which is very dangerous knowing we were to females and didn't know anything about cars. Further more that a dealership would try and take advantage of to females by tampering with the car to get more money out of us. I explained to them all I was in Florida because my mother is very ill. All they did was add more stress to an already difficult situation.
