Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This guy, Gordon Simic, the owner of Universal Taxi is a running a total scam in the form of a taxi company.  What he does is tell you his drivers average $600-$700 a week and then says you can make $1000-1200 a week if you hustle and work 15 hours a day.

I worked approx 12-15 hours a day for my first seven days with the company and made a profit of $50.  I, immediately, put in the seven day notice you must give them to quit and worked those next seven days paying my lease everyday.  On the seventh day I asked the woman that sits at the front window, Tanja, what time I should turn my car in tomorrow.  She said between 5-6pm and also said I would have to pay the lease for that day.

I told her I gave her my seven days notice and worked those seven and was not going to pay for another day.  She said i had to pay.

Now, here comes the insane owner part!

The owner comes to the window and asks what the problem is.  I tell him exactly what I told her.  He tells me I have to pay the day I bring the car in.  I tell him he's a complete liar and I want to see the 7 day agreement i signed.  He says I'll get it after i pay the lease tomorrow.  I tell him he's full of s**t and that he's running a total scam, just recycling drivers every week or two to take their lease money.

This clown storms through the door and charges at me with both of his fists balled up saying, "You're calling me a liar.  I'll break your jaw mutha-f*cker.  You got a big mouth.  You're real tough aren't you."  Then bumps his head into the brim of my baseball cap.

I stand there and tell the little porky punk b*tch to hit me.  He does nothing.  But, tells me I broke his contract with him because i raised my voice to him and to get my stuff out of his car.  He says he going to sue me for breach of contract.  Even though, I've paid my lease everyday for the 2 weeks I worked for this scumbag.

I reach down and grab my cell phone and call the cops while walking outside.  Him and another dude follow me to the car and are yelling at me to get the f outta here and the cops aint going to do sh*t for you.  "You'll see!"  was his quote.

The Addison police show up and I tell them I want to press battery charges against this p***k for threatening to break my jaw and for bumping into me.

After talking to both of us this little punk backs down and tells the cop that he'll rip up our lease agreement and we'll both part ways if i don't press charges against him.

I ended up agreeing( kinda wish I didn't and probably should've filed against this p***k) and the cop gave me a ride to the train station.

Unfortunately, this is a regular occurrence for the Addison police I was told.  Then, i remembered the cops were there the first day I picked up my taxi(should've put two and two together that day).

How this guy stays in business is beyond me.  But, I'll be contacting the BBB(Better Business Bureau) and others about this scam operation.

In the meantime, run for the hills if you're thinking about driving for this clown or if you're stuck there now.  Get the f out!  Good luck!!!
