I have this boggest school on my credit and I had been fighting them since the early 2000. So, I dropped out of school by the third day of the next month to start a new class and they are charging me for two months for two classes. Then I got an three page letter and it stated in that letter that I didn't have no kind of school loan and that I owe the school. Well, anyone in their right mind would know that a school doesn't charge around $2,000.00.

So, I am tired of this being on my credit and I wished that there was a way to get them off my credit(all three reports) and as far as referring people to take them online I have been telling people about how they have done me. As, time as passed along I have met other people that this school has done wrong.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experiance with UoP. For you to have to pay the entire amount, you would have had to complete about 5 weeks of classes. This is normal for just about any school. If it was put on your cresit report in 2000, then the staute of limitations must be near and you can just dispute it and it will go away. Unfortunatly though, you will still owe the money regardless of it being on your credit report or not. You seemed surprised about the tuition rates. That was my first question when I began as a student there. Did you believe the "per credit" ment "per class"? I will have to agree that the first block of classes is the hardest because you have to learn the site as well as complete the required coursework. Good luck, but I wouldn't count your complaint as a ripoff. It sound more about your inability to understand what you signed up for. As my dad always said "read the fine print carefully".
