UNLIMITED PRODUCTS An UNLIMITED Rip Off.....Buyer Beware Hesperia California
I am having a high end build done on a 1973 Camaro. Against the better advice of my car resoration expert I purchased a fiberglass hood from Unlimited Products after I called and spoke at lenth to one of their female employees. I ordered this hood last August, 2012. She assured me of the build quality and that the hood would be completed in 3 weeks maximum and then sent for shipment. After five weeks of waiting and calling and calling and being promised return phone calls Unlimited Products stated that they would ship the hood. Upon opening the box and viewing the hood it was clear it need ALOT of work. The fiberglass was very thin in some spots and the overall quality was lacking quite a bit. Talk about not having any integrity in their work. This hood was fitting for install on a low end race car that would take a trashing every Tuesday and Sat. night at the track and that's being kind. I have had to have my body man put in over 40 hours of work currently on the top side of the hood and another 20 pending for the underside. What a peice of junk - save your time, money and aggravation and don't buy anything from Unlimited Products. Very poor customer service along with sloppy craftmanship. Should have cut my loses with this hood along time ago. Unlimited Product in CA equals JUNK.
