When you opened a claim for that missing computer, a tracer process was initiated. That tracer includes GPS coordinates that create a log of the trucks location as well as the location where the package was left.
Two primary possibilities: It was stolen off the recipient's doorstep, or it is in the house. If it is in the house, either the recipient is not aware that it was brought in by another person or the recipient is attempting to commit fraud.
Curious, as all carriers are not responsible for mail/packages after delivery, which company exactly will you use in the future? Whomever you chose, add a 'Signature Reguired' to the shipment. Without the signature and the GPS information, literally every dilivery on the planet is open for easy fraud and mail/shipping costs would skyrocket.
So what company will you use in the future?
