Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On 01/20/2010 I went for an interview for a Security Guard position. Lt. Olivier was the person who interviewed me. In order to be placed on a site, the verbal agreement was to take the the fire guard training for 8-hours for the licence and the Metal Detector class for $538 and Lt. Olivier reveal strongly that I will get $15.00. I told him that i will not start the classes for $538 if I get pay less than & 15 per hour. Later one the Metal Dectector was replaced by Homeland Security training. This business manipulated me by taking $538 from for a Job. I asked for  a full refund on 02/08/10 because Lt. Olivier lied he did not placed me in any jobs. He made me come by the office almost everyday. Definately, I need them to give me a full refund. That is not fair, my family is suffering in HAITI RIGHT NOW while this company is taking advantage of me. If this company cannot place me in a job, they have to refund my money in full.  I knew a student who has been victimized by this ripoff. In addition, They the free booklet from the Fire Station and charged me over $100 it. when I went to take the fire guard licence the same booklet was given out for free. This business is illegal, they advertised and pretending that they are correctional officers Lieutenant,Seargents, and  security guards instructors.   They are using people. Actions have to take place.

Every Monday I went to the office and the company send to a work site that is not  hiring right now. On 03/08/10 I went to the office to ask for a full refund since there is no job available. Lt Olivier threating by asking me to leave the office and told if not he will call the police. I will not accept to be ripped off like that. Other people have the same issue. Lt Oliver and other workers were laughing they were saying "We took your money so what, leave the office." This business has to stop doing illegal services.

Urban Dynamics, Security Associates, etc. is an organized fraud and scam.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Fri, March 19, 2010

Urban Dynamics, Security Associates, and several other business names are located at 2 East 42nd Street, NYC. This company is NOT an employer or employment agency. This is strictly an organized fraud to steal money from people that are looking for jobs. This company places ads in various newspapers and on websites advertising that they have high paying security jobs available. If you call, you are told to report to one of their NYC offices. Upon arrival you are told by an interviewer that you will receive a job after you pay them for training courses, licenses, background checks, etc. You are asked to pay $80.00 to $5000. The thieves will try to steal as much money from you as they can. I know someone that lost $3500. to these crooks for the bogus training courses and a false promise of employment. In reality the training is usually fake or unnessessary and given by unlicensed instructors. There are never any jobs. All the money you paid is lost, unless you take action immediately. Here are some suggestions that may help you get your money back...

1) Go back to the crooks offices with your friends or relatives and demand a refund. Don't be shy to shout and make a loud scene, after all they stole your money. Bring a camera with you and take photographs and videos of the crooks and their offices to give to the news media and authorities.

2) Start picketing in front of there building with a big sign telling the public that they are a fraud and scam. Print up informational flyers and hand them out to warn people not to be a victim. Use a bullhorn from radio shack to attract attention. Don't stop until they refund your money. (This method is very effective in getting your money back and fast too.) Peaceful picketing is 100% legal and effective. However, you should not block the crooks doorway or sidewalk or the police can arrest you for disorderly conduct.

3) Go to the local police station and file a complaint of criminal fraud and theft by deception. Speak to the detectives and try to have the crooks arrested.

4) Go to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and file a complaint of fraud.

5) Contact the Department of Consumer Affairs or visit their website and file a complaint of fraud and operating as an unlicensed and fake employment agency.

6) Contact the New York State Department of State or visit their website and file a complaint that they are operating as an unlicensed employment agency, unlicensed watch, guard, and patrol agency, and unlicensed school

7) File a complaint with the New York chapter of the Better Business Bureau

8) Contact the New York State Attorney General's office and file a complaint of fraud

9) Contact your local TV News consumer reporter and tell them that those crooks are operating a fake employment agency and school just to steal money from job seekers.

10) Contact the landlord of the crooks building and advise them that they are operating a criminal enterprise on their property

11) Start a lawsuit in Small Claims Court

12) Place posts on the internet advising the public of the fraud and scam.

The main thing to remember is, use only legal methods in attempting to get back your stolen money. Good luck.
