URGENT ROOTER DO NOT USE!!! Worst Customer Service, No Shows, No Response, No Warranty Work RIPOFF Denver Colorado
We called Urgent Rooter last November('03) to repair our main line that had broken. They performed the work (at $2,500), gave us a 5yr warranty and we had no problems, until this November('04).
Our main line backed up again and we called Urgent Rooter at approx. 7am on 11/29/04. We requested a tech with a camera to insure the backup was not caused by their workmanship, and if it wasn't then we would pay all costs. We were told a tech could be out between 8-10am, and they would call when they were on the way.
By 10:30am, no call, no show. I called and was told the tech was on a commercial job and would be there when he finished, but no time frame was given. (Apparently they must have only one tech). At 12pm, another call was made, and again I was told it would be "sometime" today.
At 3:30pm my husband calls. We're now being told it will be 6pm before a tech can get out. At 6:30pm no call, no show. Another call was placed and now the girl (same girl all day.) seems suprised no-one has shown up(?). She tells us it might have to be rescheduled for tomorrow, but she will call us back. Why would we wait for them? We have sewer mess in our house, can't use the toliets, showers, etc. What are they thinking?
At 7pm, no call, no show (again). We called another company who came out and found it was roots all along.
The morale of this: Urgent Rooter has displayed that not only are they evasive to perform warranty work, they won't even gamble that it wasn't their work that failed to begin with!
This company has displayed some of the worst customer service skills I have ever seen!
Don't bother wasting your time calling them. They don't bother to show up or call anyway. And worse; they don't respond to customer service complaints. What a crappy company!
