US 1 Photo - US1 Camera tries to sell you cameras at a higher price then advertised online Linden New Jersey
I ordered a video camera online at the company US1photo.com and the price quoted online was $525.
The price was the best I could find at Nextag (a search engine for deals).
The next day I received an email from "Bruce" and he said that the camera I had ordered was an import model that came with a small battery. He described this as the "wholesale model." He said in order to get a regular Canon battery I needed to pay $75 more to get the "retail model." He also said that the camera would not be available to send to me for 2 to 3 weeks.
This seemed to me to be a bait and switch so I cancelled my order.
