Okay first U.S. Bank deactivates my check card without telling me until I find out by calling them after my card has already been rejected at a counter, then I have to drive an hour and half to the nearest bank to get an ATM card because this is all they will allow me besides checks. Then when I get to the bank they give me a hard time about getting the ATM card because I don't have a piece of mail with me that shows my current address. Finally I get my ATM card and I am on my way.

When I go to use my ATM card I find out that I only have a max withdraw of 300.00 a day, I need to withdraw 410.00 a month for my rent...so now I am getting charged TWO WITHDRAW FEE FROM THEM AND from the ATM because it is NOT a U.S. Bank ATM. Then comes what happened this month.....

I withdraw my normal amout like I do every month.....so today I decide to check my account online.....I am -146.70 due to insufficant funds BECAUSE OF ATM FEES FROM THEM!!....I have always had ATM card that if you don't have enough money in the bank for what you want and for what the ATM fees are your transaction is denied!! I am on disability and can not afford to pay overdraft fees and 7 dollars a day!! That is flippin unbelievable!!! And all i get when I call is I am sorry put that is policy. Well that is bull crap!! I can't even close my acct because of the overdraft fees. I will say this I am going to tell everyone I can about this and I am also going to inform the Armed Forces that this is a Bank that their veterans and Active Duty members should stay away from. I have never been treated so poorly by any company before.

ATM transactions and fees

1) The bank can close a card or account without notice. It is in the Deposit Account Agreement. We usually do this if a customer has consistently abused/overdrafted their account. 2) Limits exist on ATM withdrawals both in case of fraud transactions and also to help prevent the ATM's from running out of cash constantly. 3) An ATM transaction, Visa card withdrawal, teller withdrawal, paper or electronic check, these transactions can all overdraft a checking account. The consumer should be aware at all times of what their available balance is before making a withdrawal or transaction. 4) The $7 a day fee starts on the 4th day after an account is negative. This is meant to discourage people from overdrafting their accounts and to encourage them to bring the balance back to positive as soon as possible. CG Wisconsin
