I called to see about avoiding my tax refund being offset and so I called the us department of education national payment center who I was transferred to and so they explained everything but also request I make 9 payments of 5 dollars till 0ct 25 2016 and then I would be out of default also to send them copy of my 1040. Im veryyyyy confused
