Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

First a man called with a long story about my winning a sweepstakes ($750K), saying he was with the U.S. Gaming Commission (first he said Las Vegas, then D.C.) He mentioned they were on guard for scams. He told me to call another number, 866-305-8066, supposedly "The Registration Dept of the IRS at LAX" and to give them a tracking # he gave me. I asked for his name and phone number, as well as the name of his company and of the company he referred me to and he gave me the names above and the number, which is apparently toll free and I wondered about that. He gave his name as Brandon Myers, though something more Hispanic would've been more convincing. I reverse searched the phone numbers - Brandon's number is a private number but the toll free number was said to have a low likelihood of being a scam. When I called the "Registration Dept of the IRS" someone equally flaky-sounding answered the phone, without any professional greeting like, "Registration Dept" or anything. His accent was similar to Brandon's and could possibly have even BEEN Brandon at this number as well (?) I asked him who I was calling and he said, "The warehouse." He stumbled around verbally, maybe mentioned LAX (the IRS at the airport?!) and at some point asked for my Tracking #. Then, yes, he admitted there would be this fee for delivery.
