U.S. National Properties ..bogus Real Estate list, big rip-off scam
I called US NAtional Properties in July of 1999 to request info on properties in Pinellas County, Fl. I gave my credit card information and was told I would recieve the package soon. After 3 weeks I finally called and was told info would be sent. After receiving said info, we decided we would like a refund as listings could be found anywhere.
I called for refund and was told to fill out refund form. I did as instructed and sent it in. I waited and - no refund. I called and was told I had not filled out the form correctly and they would send another form.
After 3 times doing this I finally called and spoke to "Rocky" who stated he was a manager. He advised me that I would have to wait 3 months for a refund, and to call back after January 11, 2002.
I am presently on hold with USNP, while I am typing. I have been on hold since 11:00 am EST. Will I ever get my $$ back?? We'll see...

Correction to my last entry - it was July of 2001 not July of 1999. But does it really matter when you can't get your $$ back??? I finally got through at about 2:00 pm on Wednesday and they stated they would send my request to the "refund-department" and I would receive a refund within 4 to 6 weeks! Time will tell........
