US Post office A package was never delivered to my fiance. He tracked it and it was being sent all around FL. Last time he spoke with post office He was told that the pkg was destroyed by them cause it was undeliverable...thats after weeks of contacting them. The amazon person sent the pkg in good faith we paid for the contents and now we are out the money and the Post office destroyed our goods?? Why arent they liable for the pkg. and refund our money? The post office in Crystal river never forwarded our package. We moved recently and they have a change of address. This particular package which cost us about $50.00 bought from Amazon. was never sent to us. My faince went to the PO many times to find out why the package was there and they sent it out to Orlando and many other places but never to us.
then we got a call from the PO saying they had to destroy the package because it was undeliverable. Well if they didnt ship it to all the wrong places instead of to us but they either kept it or actually destroyed it. As i see it they owe us money we put out for the stuff we ordered in good faith. The seller says they are not responsible and will not send another product out to us.. The post office should not be allowed to just send your mail any place they want to and then destroy your mail and call and tell you ' oh well sorry you ar eout your money and we destroyed your pkg. That is unacceptable behavior and the PO should be liable for their unacceptable actions.
Isn't agains the law for the US post office to just destroy someones mail and not make good on it?

If you do not have insurance on the package then its at your own risk!!! No ifs and or buts about it. I fail to understand why YOU dont understand a BASIC principle. It probably WAS stolen by a postal worker and they SAID it was destroyed. I would contact the Postmaster general in your area.
