I recieved a voicemail shortly after applying online for a loan. This time of year, I need help for the holidays. The voicemail stated that I had been approved for a loan for $5000.00 dollars but I needed to return their call to insure information was accurate. When I called them they said I was eligbile for this amount, when I stated that I only needed a loan for 3500, he said that was fine. He then went over interest rates, pay back dates and the amount. At tthe end of the conversation he stated that I needed to put $100 dollars on a green dot card to secure the loan and it would be returned back into my bank account within 45 minutes along with my loan. I then bought the card put the money on it gave them the code and they told me their surpervisor would be calling me back within 20 minutes. I then recieved another call from the same gentleman stating that in order to wire my money to my account I would need to pay for other fees and that would be another 138 dollars on top of the 100. When I told them I thought it was ridiculous and I just wanted my 100 dollars back, the man started screaming at me and calling me bad names. He then proceeded to tell me I was not going to get my money back and hung up on me. When I tried calling back from my number my call was not answered. I then called from another number, phone was answered but screamed at and hung up on again after realizing who I was.
