I entered my information on a website that would send notifications to 5 different moving companies.  This company was the best priced- $80/hour for 2 movers and a driver (also a mover) and no additional costs.  Had I known that they were lying to me, I would have gone with one of the other four companies.

They were two and a half hours late with NO PHONE CALL! I had to track someone down at the company to find where the drivers were. The first time they told me it would be about another half hour.  An hour went by and I called again to find out they were about 15 minutes away.

I was informed that they were going to shrink wrap my mattress and box spring and they asked me if there was anything fragile I wanted wrapped.  I pointed out a statue goose, nothing else! He shrink wrapped my guitar, both TVs, my mirror and glass top table and charged me at least $25 per item. I pointed out on the contract it stated that fragile items needed to be covered; it also stated they provided covers (blankets) free of charge. All he said was, "Oh, well I'm just a contractor."

Both of the moving men were smokers and I saw them take at least 6 smoke breaks within the first hour they were there.  I was paying them $80/hour to SMOKE!

They excessively taped my boxes claiming that they "had to do it to keep the lids on," then turned and charged me for the tape; while I was paying them $80/hour!  I took pictures to document the unnecessary amout of tape that was used.  When I let the company know that this was my first time using a moving company, they never informed me that the lids had to be taped on- I could have done that myself for free.  They even taped the Tupperware storage bins!

In addition, they put my shelf on top of some of the items already in the truck and since the other side had nothing to rest on, they felt it was a good idea to tape that half of it to the side of the truck! Then, charge me for tape.

They dropped two of my boxes; one of which had my great grandmother's collector China sets in it.  Two plates were broken and they don't reimburse without "proper proof."  I asked what "proper proof" meant- I stated I have pictures, a witness and asked if they asked the guy who dropped them.  Of course they did not.

There was massive damage done to my TV to the point where it looks like a mouse tried to chew through it.  They cracked one of the side speakers in the front and without "proper proof" they won't reimburse me.

They advertise "Student/Military Discounts."  When I set up the appointment, I let them know I was a student.  I did not receive this discount.

They feel that I am not inclined for a refund and that set me off.  When a customer files a complaint, they ask for 45 days to review the file and see if they feel a refund is in order.  I let them know I believe they have this policy in hopes that people will forget.  I know for a fact that they didn't review anything I sent them.  They didn't even notice that my move date was in the header of EVERY email we had been sending back and forth!

So NOT using the letter "S" in Points. They is how my documents read.
Anyway it is the same company. Please read my report. They are out of control.

We just paid 2960 for the same 3 people. OMG. I'm about to post my own report about these people. I sent 2 emails. you know who calls back? the CONTRACTOR DRIVER!! W T F asking why we made a complaint, he thought everything was good. are you kidding me?

They said they worked for 12hrs & drove for 4hrs. I understand the driving, cos we are moving to Orange, VA from Frederick, MD. But 12 hrs? Not even close. They did take 4 hours to PACK the truck, they would be gone for 5-10 minutes at a time.

They used 16 rolls of tape on stuff i already had tape, I taped our tupperware contrainers already, we had bags of clothes, a nice, "HEY WE CANT TAKE BAGS, THEY NEED TO BE IN BOXES.." would of been nice, instead they take ther $29 wardrobe boxes 6 of them to be exact, and packed them with bags. 

They charged us for 15 of the blankets.. even though only 5 were used.

The lady who talked to my husband at first, said 80/hr plus the 10% for driving, that's it. So we thought that was the best deal.. Boy did we get screwed.

Not only that, on the way down to VA, we get a phone call from the cops in Frederick, someone on the floor below us, reported their bike stolen, it was there before the movers got there & gone afterwards.. The movers claim they have no clue. But they got to the new place an HOUR AFTER US. We even stopped to get my daughter out of school & had to stop for her to go to the bathroom, we didnt stop for gas, we didnt stop for food, nothing, went staright to the house, no traffic, no speeding.. they had NO reason to be an hour late.

After i send the 2nd complaint email. Jose calls me, speaks horrible enligsh, it was so hard to understand what he was saying.. but he was trying to tell me that they worked for 12 hrs, drive for 4, so that's why it was 8hrs @ 80/hr & 8 hrs overtime @ 120/hr.. then the gas on top of that. then the 860 of packing fees. almost 500 of "extra services" not sure what that is exactly.  He tried to tell me that we had to pay for them to drive from Baltimore (their home) to Gaithersburg (the warehouse) to frederick.. then back. Uhhm I DONT THINK SO! Told me im not getting any money back. everytime i tried to ask or explain he would cut me off, i got fed up & hung up.
