I was injured in an auto accident on 8/21/14. I went to the doctor, had x-rays etc. Was told including in medical notes that other injuries could become clearer to use the terms from my exams.

I had some minor stomach pain at time but overlooked. Stomach pain increased until 9/5 or so when I started to vomit after eating a meal. Saw doctors on 9/12 but no major tests done.

Found near death on 9/26, had emergency surgery for perforated bowel (seat belt related), renal failure, sepsis secondary to bowel perforation. Never had bowel or stomach issue prior to accident. All surgical records and subsequent relate to auto accident. PIP request made of USAA in November 2014. USAA has stalled since then going as far as wanting my 5 year medical history and two different sets of billing records. They have now stalled again by sending the records out to review, something my former attorney Lance Youd and current lawyers at Swanson, Coons and Newton have never heard of before.

Because I have not been paid my PIP by this company, money I am legally entitled to, I had my auto insurance cancelled for nonpayment (no money, no able to pay bills), fell 4 months behind on my house payment and other bills. It appears this is a clear attempt to defraud me. I was not at fault and USAA even confirmed that fact by returning my deductible. Nationwide, my current carrier also did a search and found this accident listed as "not at fault". I no longer have access to USAA even though I had my home insured through them until last week when I cancelled coverage.

I also need to add that my surgeon wrote a letter outlining causation of my injuries and the relationship back in early February. USAA still stalled. Included with this complaint is the latest letter which USSA has as of July 2nd but has failed to even acknowledge.

This is outright fraud by this company which claims to be there for Vets.Payment of my PIP, cancellation of any debt they claim I owe them, payment of any legal fees and payment of medical bills as required under my policy.
