USBI is some company listed on my Verizon bill for unknown charges. I called Verizon and they were nice enough to put what they call a "claim in" on the USBI company. What that does is makes it ok for me to deduct USBI's portion of the bill when making my payment to Verizon without any consequence with Verizon.

I tried to phone USBI several times, only to listen to a recording that asks me to be patient while waiting for the next customer service rep. After the 4th time of calling and waiting no less than 10 mins each time I finally contacted them through their web-site. The message that was sent back to me read,

"Thank you for contacting our Customer Service Department. We have received your recent correspondence and will respond within 5 business days. Please note that our office is open from Monday through Friday."

No other contact has been made so far. I did let them know that their was a claim in on them and that I would not be paying their charges until they contact me and explain what the charges are.

This is a fraudulent company that gets you to sign up with them by posing as Verizon and then intimidating you to accept their agreement or they will cancel your phone service.

We'll see what happens next...stay tuned!
