USIGHT ripoff deceptive company ripoff fraud business OREM Utah
Unfortunately, after watching the tv infomercial about building a website business, I decided to attend the free seminar in Cherry Hill, NJ.
The speaker was a man named Bud Lethridge who was very charismatic and appeared know what he was talking about concerning building an successfull online business.
After some thought I decided to give it a try and purchased the website package with the search engine package also.( I wrote a personal check for $558.00 total). Then of course I purchased the merchant account pkg. at $89.00 month...oh boy!!!
Well, everything appeared to be legit so I attended the training 7/24/03. The speaker was Randy Judd who appeared to be very nice and helpful with any questions or concerns we had about the whole process.
At this training they were selling websites which I did not purchase... thank goodness!! but I did buy the mini vacations for $100.00 for 20. Please let me know if these are legit or not.
So, I received my password and user id and was told I could start building my website using the instructions and the uBuilder 2.0 site, well I have tried numerous times and have been unable to have access to the site.
In the process of trying to find out what was wrong I found this site and saw how many complaints were filed against them (Usight) and I decided to stop payments on my checks to them.
I know they will probably try to sue me or whatever because the 3 day cancellation deadline is over, but I don't care. they were not going to get my money after I read all these complaints.
I will be in contact with my lawyer about this issue and hopefully everthing will resolve itself.
If anyone has any suggestions or if they have stop payment on payments to this company please let me know how it turned out.
