Complaint Review: Uzed.com (aka) Preplayed.com (aka) Newtownvideo.com - Huntingdon Valley Pennsylvania

All of my orders were shipped well before your emails about any of my orders. Once those emails were received, I stated that I would not make any additional orders with your company other than what I had already done. I did not continue making orders and only shipped the orders that I had already placed prior to your emails. Also as mentioned, all of those orders that were placed before your emails were also shipped before you sent any emails. I even canceled a few that I made and had not shipped after your emails were received. I was not going to continue shipping items to you after you notified me of possible problems. As for offering to send them back to me. There was never once made an offer to send them back to me. All emails that I have sent regarding my orders were ignored. I asked about the status of my orders, when you received them, or when payments would be made and not one single email was returned. I have sent a total of 43 emails since I made the orders, and to date not a single email was returned with a response from your company. I have sent 4 emails since the beginning of July and none of them have been responded to. They all have been ignored. Had an offer been made to get my items back that you were not going to pay me for, I would have taken that in a heartbeat. A response from me could not have come any faster to agree to have them shipped back to me if I knew you weren't going to make payment and go ahead and proceed with ripping me off. I would not have passed up the chance to get my stuff back that I wasn't going to be paid for and allow you to keep them and not pay for them. There's no doubt in my mind that you kept them and sold them. There is no chance in the world that you "discarded" them as you claim you have done. Also, your excuse for not paying for them because of some of your companies going out of business is not valid as well. You agreed to purchase items that people shipped to you. There was no conditions of you selling them first before us getting paid. You are the same company as Newtownvideo. You have the same mailing address. Your website looks exactly the same in every single way. The only difference whatsoever in your websites is the name of the company between Uzed.com and Newtownvideo.com. Other than that, your website is the same, your companies are the same, and soon they will be the same as well and have complaints against them for doing the same thing and ripping people off just as you have done. You're a con artist and your entire company commits fraud on a daily basis. I have seen numerous complaints just on this website from many other people. This isn't even a well known popular website and there are many complaints against you on this. You even owe a couple of my friends money as well for orders they made. You're a pathetic company and I intend to recieve my full payment for all items sent to you.

Michael, First we are not associated with business of NewtownVideo.com. We've used their warehouse services in the past (as others do) to check in our orders but we no longer do. NewtownVideo.com is a good company that you are slandering. We've assisted them in creating a buyback site but they own and operate it, they pay their customers quickley and are very reputable. I would recommend that you retract your statement. We are paying customers back as quickly as we can do to the challenges of our clients - namely Musicland, Movie Trading Company and others who went out of business. Now concerning your orders. We contacted you when you first starting sending the product you sent us and told you were sending us essentially crap and that we would not accept it, but you continued to create and send orders in hopes that we would pay you for the inferior product you were sending. We gave you the opportunity to have sent back to you on your dime (since you said to have it disposed of if it didn't meet our quality requirements), but you failed to act. Checking your account we do owe $26.32 for the only order that we check in (before we realized you trying to use the service as a dump) and I have forwarded that to your paypal account. Uzed.com
