In June of 2010 I was contacted by James Stevens of VacationMax.  Jim explained that they had a large company that buys up blocks of timeshares for their executives to use in many locations when they need to stay for business, in lieu of hotels.  Once again, I tried to sell the timeshare, which was now adding late charges and calling me at least twice a day.  SoI paid $600 to Vacation Max for what was a guaranteed sale.  I was promised by Jim that we would be closing at the end of August, and it is their practice after closing to contact any other company that was selling the timeshare and didnt and get my money back for me, which was in line with what Justine had stated.

I called to speak with Jim two to three times a month every month until he stopped returning my calls.  Then I was contacted by Carl Golden from Vacation Max and advised that he would be my contact going forward.  That was in November 2010.  It seems as if Carl was their irate customer specialist.  Carl has also been promising closing, time after time; month after month.

The last definitive date given to me by Carl was March 31st 2011.  When I spoke to Carl this afternoon, he stated that Vacation Max has granted the buyers a 3 month extension.

So...what does that mean to me???  It means that Ive been ripped off again.  In total now Ive paid out $2000 in fees for two companies to sell my timeshare.  Since then, not only am I still out of work, but now my unemployment has expired.  Now, Wyndham will foreclose on the property and I will end up not only loosing the money that Ive invested there, but also the fees to both companies that promised to sell the property.   Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves also.  I spoke with an Exec VP and they all just covered Zacs back and basically said too bad.  I had no proof of what was promised me.
I know that Ive been gullible and naive.  I do however want you to know how these companies are conducting business.  I am 55 years old and I would bet that most of their clients are my age and older.
