Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Phone sales rep. pressured us in to signing with company for one price and then changed price after a few minutes to about $40 more then quoted. Company re-sells time share vacations that people own.

We paid via phone check with clear understanding that only the signed contracted mailed out to us would seal the deal to list our time share condo with company. Sales rep. was very persistent about getting signed contract back to him a.s.a.p.

Contract was received three business days later. On back of contract is read that we had the right to cancell and receive a full refund (we paid $499) would be provided if cancellation were received within 10 business days and in writing.

We cancelled via email 5 days after phone sign up and mailed written notice of cancellation within a total time of 7 business days since initial contact.

Received a very rude phone call from someone in management demanding to know why we changed our mind.

Was informed that the written contract did not apply and that the uniform business / sales code superceeded all, and that according to it we were not entitled to refund. Was then threatened with attorney action if we persued this matter.

Called back and spoke to sales rep. that signed us up. He first claimed he knew nothing about the matter but then messed up and told us he had already spoken with manager.

Again, very rude towards us and claiming that contract meant nothing. Then added that I would have to take them to court to get the money back.

Rep. then claimed to have studied law and knew that we had no right to ask for the money back. Then added that he would have to charge us for sending out 200 emails with our listing and posting advertisement obligated us to use their service, or obligated us to pay him for his services.

Please note that it was very difficult for us to actually find our listing on their own website, not to mention on the internet at all. (So far for agressive advertisement)

The company sales representative ended the conversation with -Well, we'll see you in court - and then hung up on me.

Company claimed to be very large at time of listing. Actuall investigation via the BBB of NH showed that it is a small company with only 5 employees.

Strongly urge everyone interested in selling (or even buying) a time share vacation beware of this particular company.

Their rude and dishonest actions towards us lead us to believe that we are probably not going to see our money again. Hope they at least manage to sell our time share condo, we need the money desperately.

We will update this report favorably if indeed the company should honor its own contract and refund our money, since we did cancell in writing and within 10 days as stated.

But since the last words from them were "see you in court" it is not likely. Wish us luck

Folks, we are very happy to report that we have received a refund for the full amount that we paid. This was followed by a phone call from the manager, Wesley, who assured us that all of this was just a miscommunication and that the company never had any other intentions in regards to this matter. (Yea.... right) We received a second phone call, about a day later, during which he asked us to please take care of the BBB customer report that we filed against the company, and of cause, the negative report on this site. We assured him that we would do so as soon as the check had cleared. Well, a few days have passed since we have deposited the check and we assume that there were no problems, as the bank has not sent us information to the contrary. So as it stands, Vacation Property Resales has decided to honor their own written contract after all. Imagine that. LOL

After filling reports with the BBBonline, BBB of NH in Concord, as well as on this site www.ripoffrepot.com I waited a few days for some type of reaction. Late last night I sent the company a brief email to let them know that these complaints had been filled (providing links) and respectfully requested that the company reply. This morning we received a phone call, from someone we think was named Wesley (but don't quote us on that). The gentleman was very polite and informed us that he was the same person to whom we had originally spoken last week. He explained that a refund check had been mailed out to us on the very same day of our conversation and that he did not understand why a complained was filed at the BBB of NH. Somewhat surprised, considering the very rude way we were treated last week, we thanked him and assured him that we would remove any negative comments about the company, as soon as we had indeed received the money in to our account. The guy thanked us and that ended the conversation. So, now we will have to see if our money will indeed arrive and the check clears the bank. We will update the situation as soon as this has taken place.
