Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

we were on vacation in pigeon forge Tennesse which is where we vacation regularly. we were in a local store there  in 2009 when a very pushey sales person approached us making all sorts of promises to listen to a 15 min max  Presintation. " quote just 15 min. thats all". went there listened to the spill, they made all sorts of promises that prices would never  increase and Any time you wanted to use your membership just call or go on line and book.  HA HA  Joke Since 2009 when we were suckered in we have NOT been able to stay at one of there resorts where we go every year   Twice , and we start looking at the begining of the year and yet have had any luck booking the week we need. So MANY  Years later and MANY $ wasted  we still can not book the week we need.,  Every thing they said we could do  has not happened as yet.  And God forbid that you book and something comes up and you are unable to go Vacation Village Voyages  keeps  all your money that you paid. And another Rip Off  they make you pay the whole fee for the reservation up front.  How WRONG is that.  Wish there was some help to correct all the misconceptions  they have caused. Doesn't seem right that a Nationwide Company can get away with this.   Word to the wise DONOT BUY , SIGN,  ETC.  for  VACATION VILLAGE VOYAGES.

With all due respect, Pigeon Forge Tennessee is NOT a high demanded location, with the exception of a couple of long weekends, like Thanksgiving. And only locals care...other Tennessee residents, and the surrounding little hicktowns and neighboring states, like Georgia and the Carolina's. The program has more availability than any timeshare exchange company can offer you...and if you price the EXACT same resorts on the internet or through your travel agent...you will find that Voyages has it for 50% lower or more. If, on the other hand, you compare the resorts with a Red Roof in, off the highway...then yes, you may beat their rates.

Nonetheless, the only way to ensure a highly demanded resort in a highly demanded time of the year, is to either book as far in advance as allowed..or to buy a timeshare fixed week, on that exact week number, at that exact resort...and go back to your base year after year. Nobody can take that away from you. Voyages is the best way to travel worldwide...but yes, no exact home resort is specified. That's why it costs a fraction of a timeshare deeded fixed week. If a fixed week in Tennessee is your idea of a dream vacation every single year, then please do all the readers a favor, and go buy one on ebay for $1, and take over their maintenance fees for the rest of your life. Then burden your kids with them too. And when you get sick of Tennessee..(most people will), then good luck begging your exchange company to give you something decent, in exchange for THAT.

Voyages was sold to me as the second best system out there. The best system was Marriot week number #52, deeded fixed. I priced it at $70,000 in Newport Beach, California. I saw it on ebay for $28,000 cash up front. Fees were almost $3000/year. That week exchanges perfectly with Interval International, and they have 3500 choices. If you can afford it...get one. Sorry, they don't build in Pigeon Forge. You'll have to buy somewhere nice, and then exchange DOWN.

Voyages is second to it, and they have over 30,000 choices. It costs 10% of a Marriot and has no maintenance fees...only an annual renewal, just under $200.

Please stop slandering businesses, just because you don't know how to read, listen and use the internet.
