They cannot take your home - I checked Mr Hibbs site and there is no listing for this "agency" therefore they are new or just another scammer NEVER EVER make deals with a collection agency You shot yourself in the foot on this one

why someone would remotely consider paying something they allege they do not owe in the least. This makes no sense. Do you actually owe money? And if not, why did you agree to pay something?

DO NOT LET THEM INTIMIDATE YOU - that is what they are trying to do - SCARE YOU INTO PAYING THEM do not wire them any money - no legitimate collection agency has you wire money THEY CANNOT JUST CALL AND DEMAND PAYMENT FROM YOU. They first have to prove the debt is yours. Sounds like you have not received anything in writing at all, that is a requirement. The letter comes before the calls start. Call Dell and find out what they have to say about it. go to www.budhibbs.com READ DEALING WITH COLLECTORS 101 www.ftc.gov and learn about YOUR RIGHTS under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
