Value City Furniture Friends don't let friends buy Value City bedding! Plainfield Indiana
My wife and I purchased a bran new bed from Value City Furniture. Our new bed would welcome us home from our honeymoon. After a wonderful cruise to the behammas, our honeymoon with Value City turned into a nightmare.
This was a waking nightmare, because we simply could not sleep on a Value City mattress. My dreamgirl and I suffered in silence for the first few weeks. Neither of us wanted to admit how awfull our new mattress was.
But then, we each cought each other sneeking off to the couch. Turns out we were retreating from an awfull night of trying to sleep on an awfull mattress.
The feeling was mutual, we were both avoiding our mattress at all cost.
But the nightmare really begins at customer no service. Value City states they do not offer a any promise of comfort. No matter who you talk to at value city's customer no service it's the same tired speel. "Osha doesn't allow us to take back a mattress once it is out of the plastic". Odd that almost any other retailer including Menards for heavens sake can accept a mattress return. You would think a law that applies to Value city would apply to other retailers.
We offered to pay more for an "upgrade" to a better more expensive mattress.
No good, no returns, exchanges or uprgrades.
That was over two years ago. We spent too much money on Value City's awfull exuse for a mattress and are still stuck with it. Can't afford to replace it yet.
Yep, two years later, my dream girl and I take turns getting a decent nights sleep on the couch. Sometimes in desperation, I take the floor when it's her turn for the couch.
Please warn everyone you know.............. Friends don't let friends buy Value City bedding.
