Valu+Pawn Damaged Merchandise Houston Texas
I took out a loan of $75.00 from Valu+Pawn and provided as collateral a Marshal 4X12 Speaker cabinet and took pictures to document its condition upon acceptance into Valu+Pawn. They stated it would not be damaged and it would be returned to me in the same condition once I paid the loan amount + $15 service fee for a 30 day loan.
When I returned less than 30 days after, they required I pay and sign documents without first being allowed to inspect the merchandise, stating they returned the item. When they brought the speaker cabinet back and upon inspection it was found to be damaged with a ripped covering indicating it had been poorly handled.
When I showed them pictures of its condition upon their acceptance they refused to provide me with any consideration for the damage they had done to the speaker cabinet.
