Vatterott College Vatterott Technical College Predatory and Fraudulent Practices Berkeley Missouri
Vatterott has been capitalizing on fraudulent and predatory lending practices for years now. I received my Associates Degree in Computer Programing and Networking, was told my degree was accredited and would be able to transfer credits and obtain a job based on the experience I received at Vatterott. To my dismay many of the instructors in this program have no experience in the real word in programing or networking. While taking classes I complained numerous times about the quality of the instructors leading the classes. Each time I was assured that they were competent and able to provide quality education on the subject. One instructor admitted he was not a programmer nor did he have any experience in teaching or leading program based instruction. His previous job was an instructor at a Missouri state prison. During classes he could never answer anyone's questions when programs did not run properly, he would just say he would find out and get back to us. His way of finding out was to go down the hall and ask someone else. When he was instructing the class all he would do is read verbatim from the text books of what we were supposed to have read the night before. Several other instructors had no knowledge other than what was given in the book. I filed a complaint with the BBB and requested a meeting with Mr. Vatterott and was told I could the classes over again for free. Why would I want to take them over for free when they were worthless the first time around. During this ordeal the loan processes was never defined on how many "loans" they were taking out. Graduating from Vatterott is not worth the paper it is written on. There needs to be a class action suit against this company for fraudulent practices and predatory lending.
