The editor posts information on getting a bank to reverse the charges on fraudulent purchases. Have you located it and followed the instructions? That is your first area to pursue. In addition, what product or service was this company offering? What was the purchase price? And, what did you receive? It looks like the tired, old internet site con, but I can't be sure because I'm not familiar with this name. So many companies are running the internet site con. Typically, people send thousands, in exchange for counseling. One final question, why is it that victims have all the time in the world to research on the internet after making a purchase, but none at all before sending out their money? I find it is always easier to walk around dog crap rather than to try to scrape it off your shoe once you step in it.

I too was ripped off by this company for $1,500. Like Penny when I got the package in the mail it was done so sophmorically that I said how can you be a legitimate company..I am not signing anything. They called me and resent the information, reworded the contract, offering me double the money for all my troubles...as soon as I signed the contract.. I cant get anyone to return my calls. I want my 1500 dollars back ...will do what ever it takes to get it back!!

Hi Penny, I see you have unfortunately been scammed by VBO along with about 20 others that I am aware of and in contact with. It makes me sick that they are still trying to sell this software when they were personally alerted by me mid-August that the software they are selling is now illegal per the FTC. I even left a message for Brian McClure, the President of VBO, as well as with the person who answered the phone directing them to the FTC report on the internet that was posted to the general public on 8/9/04. The person who took the message even looked it up on the internet as I gave him the web address! I have some information that can help you in fighting back against VBO as well as help you to get your money back from your credit card company. The information I have is a compilation of about 18 separate stories of other victims of VBO as well as the FTC report that clearly demonstrates that the type of software VBO is selling is now considered illegal as well as VBO's suggestion that you create fictitious yahoo accounts using female persona's. I have other info and will post it shortly below so eveyone will know. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. I am a very angry VBO victim and am making it my personal goal to make sure this company can no longer take credit cards and that they are exposed for the lying and cheating people they are.
