I was contacted by Vehicle Bureau Online on 10/22/2012 by a William Russell.  They had seen my car on Craigslist. He asked if I would be interested in having them sell my car.  I said I'd check it out.  On 10/23/2012, I received a call from Jenna Miller.  Now I know that she fed me a line of BS.  She said 92% of their cars sell, my car would be listed on all of the car selling web sites, they would guarantee my asking price, that they would refund my money if it didn't sell, but 92% of our cars sell and the ones that don't are because the seller did something. She even gave me her extension. They even had 5 interested buyers.

They took my money up front via a credit card.  I never actually heard from them again unless I picked up the phone to call them. In 90 days I went from having 5 interested buyers to 3 then 2 then none. My car was never advertised on any other sites. Each time I called I could never speak to Jenna, who portrayed herself as my account rep.

When my contract expired (and just so you know it's for 90 days, so time limit is up to dispute with your credit card company). I tried to follow their process to request a refund.  Their web site was not working. So I called. They had me send my paperwork to an email address.  [email protected]

I sent in my paperwork on 1/22.
On 1/23 I called, they confirmed that they received my paperwork
I called again on 2/12, they said my refund was in review
I called again on 2/19, again they said my refund was in review.
Then later on 2/19, I got an email from them saying they never received my refund request.
I called back on2/19 only to find out they have no record of me ever calling beyond 1/22.
I resubmitted my request on 2/19 and copied myself.  I received it just fine.  I called back to see if they had received it and they have not.  I have asked to speak to a manager now twice. The first time he was at lunch. The last time I called, they said I could not speak to him and he would call me back.

This is such a scam.  I am out $499.94 and feel really stupid.
