Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
HERE IS THE SCAM AND HOW MINCHAU (Mike is a fake name he has made up to sound more American) MAKES HIS MONEY.

He Contacts the owner(me) usually from Swapalease or Craigslist and tells you he found a qualified user and has this headache-free system. He calls it a "Piece of Mind Payment Guarantee"

The user isnt really qualified mostly these are drug dealers, pimps, rappers, or other types of degenerates with horrible credit that have cash to drive high end cars

Minchau (Mike) swindles both. As soon as he gets your car hes gone. He takes your car to the user and charges the user $15,000, $10,000 whatever as an upfront downpayment on car should they want to purchase at the end of the lease. As soon as he gets that money he's gone.

REMEMBER: The contracts Minchau (Mike Pham) provides are false i.e. no good. It gives you all the protection in the world but in the end VEhicle Management Group delivers on 0%

NO payments are made.

NO insurance is obtained.

NO piece of mind is acheived.

I have yet to get my car back and currently my payments are 3 months past due.

***IF YOU HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY MICHAEL/VEHICLE MANAGEMENT GROUP***

1. You are probably have a listing on Swapalease OR Craigslist. FYI - subleasing a vehicle is illegal almost everywhere. Call Swapalease or Craigslist and tell them someone running an auto subleasing scam is using their site for leads. They should know better.

2. He probably told you your vehicle has 'negative equity' in these 'tough market environments.' Tell him you'd rather take it then any false positives from him.

3. He'll act like your best friend until he gets the car, after that - he's scammed you. Say goodbye to that fine German automobile cause it's being shipped to future wanna-be Pablo Escobars.

4. Disregard the website. It's a hoax like he is. He'll say he has a boss, he doesn't. He's the head of an illegal enterprise.

5. Delete his e-mail and follow point 5 below. (Most Important)

***GUIDELINES TO SOME RESOLUTION IF YOU WERE SCAMMED***

1. Revoke your limited power of attorney IMMEDIATELY.

2. Demand Michael/MC/Minchau to return your vehicle - otherwise report the car as stolen/embezzled (see point 5 below). It's absolutely imperative that the vehicle be recovered. If you have Lojack, put that knowledge to use!

3. Please be advised that Mike "Scam" does not pick up any phone #'s

4. File the amount you deserve (up to $5,000) in your state's small claims court and identify Minchau Pham/Vehicle Management Group as the culprit. Any amount in excess of this, a civil lawsuit is necessary.

5. GOOD NEWS: There are plenty of the good guys looking for this THIEF (LAPD, FBI, etc to name a few). If you have any information or have been scammed (latter is likely) please call the lead investigator on this case:

George Zosimo

California DMV Investigations

(818) 702-2809

or

Detective Lopez

Los Angeles Police Department - Auto Crimes

(310) 482-6351

I would forward you over to the FBI, Attorney General or Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force, but figure it's best to direct you to the man in charge. Any information is helpful - especially other people that Mr. Pham may have put in contact with you during this whole process.

6. Notify the attorney general. Try the Secret Service ECTF, FTC, BBB, LAPD, your local PD. Feel free to warm call them - they're job is partly to put away sleazebags like Minchau Pham.

7. Remind him he's a THIEF and that you will gladly testify at any trial set-up to prosecute him. People like these don't deserve to steal from other people's hard work and success.

I was lucky enough to get my car back (after $4K later). Thanks to your post I will work with Mr. Zosimo and hopefully we can get him. I won a small claims again him (under Mike Pham), now I just need to add his real name to the case. Please email me if you want to work together on anything. I wish I had the foresight to have searched his name on Google to see if there were any complaints before giving him my car. He assured me that he was leasing my car to some lawyer, and all payments were going to be made on time. After getting a call from Mercedes that I was behind on two payments, I called the supposed attorney that had my car. It turned out to be some guy why was given my car in exchange for the money Mike Pham owed him. After contacting Mike he told me that i should pick up my car, and that he will not be paying the payments he should have made to Mercedes. He left my car, damaged and almost 5000 miles put on it in two months, at the Orange County Valet. I personally know of two other people who have been scammed by him. We really need to get together and have the DMV, Police, and FBI involved. He does send cars outside of California in this illegal manner, so this should fall in the FBI jurisdiction. The more people we could get together, the better chance we have of getting this scum off the streets, so please post your complaints, and call the DMV and the Police investigators.

Thank you for taking the time to post this complaint. I have been scammed by Mike Pham with Auto Management Group. My Yukon Denali was found on the side of the road 3 states away from my residence and the entire interior was completely stripped - EVERYTHING WAS GONE! Since I am still in a lease, I am responsible to bring it up to original condition. I have spent over $15,000 already and the Yukon is not close to being done. Argh! I am working with Dennis Young at the CA-DMV. Thank you for educating other potential victims.
