Venus Voicemail Service ripoff unauthorized charges on phone bill and not giving a credit tricked and lied to us dishonest ripoffs deceptive company Mount Laurel Nationwide
I was contacted by phone from Venus Voicemail saying they would like my permission to send out a brochure describing their service and if I wanted their service to call them and activate my account. "No charges on my phone bill until I activate". I never called and yet they still charged by account the one-time activation fee. On January 3, I called the company & complained and requested a refund/credit, they told me it would take 30 to 90 days to receive the credit.
On Feb. 3, I received my phone bill with another charge on my account and no credit. I called back and they told me the exact same thing.
On March 3, April 8, & May 5 I called VVMS and asked where my $45 credit was and they say the same thing -- I should receive the credit next billing cycle. (ya right).
On May 5, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and called a local TV station to see if they would help me. I haven't had any luck with this company and seeing this website today, discourages me a bit. (At least I am not alone)!
