This company bought my mortgage in 2005. They increased me from 7% to almost 15%. I contacted them constantly and begged them to change it back or rfinance. They refused to refinance and after complaing to my attorney general they came down to 9.5% for a fixed back in 2007. Then they charged me almost $4,000 for property insurance I already had separately for the life of my mortgage and had paid.Then when Michigan got hit extremely badly and I lost a job I asked for help. Each time I was ignored and treated poorly and calls were not returned. but when my check was late they harassed me on home phone, work phone and cell phone. Bottom line I tried since last year to get them to work with me. Then this year they quit accepting my checks and then filed foreclosure. They contacted me prior to say they would see if I could quality for redudcing my principal and lowering me rate. I gave them infor for over a month and then they avoide3d me. Instead in June they finally called me insisting I needed to do a short sale. I requested a modification and they gave me the run around and other people's names and numbers who I called and always got voice mail. Then I would try again and get somebody in collections who would harass me then put me on hold for about 30 minutes and come back and say the person for modifications was busy and would call me back.
Finally I called CredAbility counselors who got on the phone with me and had my U S Congressman and Attorney General file complaints. You need to file complaints with the FTC and your state Attorney General. The FDIC was helpful, but doesn't over see them. I was approved for the Hardist Hit Program which they claim to participate with and refused. They told me they would not give me HAMP. They finally gave me a crappy modivication with a clause of unknown extra charges. And then when I crossed out one paragraph and sent it to them with the check they requested they ignored my calls. Now I've got the state writing them letters and their VP of loans. However, she is distroting the truth. Bottom line they have added fees and more rules to the modification and still will not give it to me. And now will not respond to calls, emails, faxes, etc. They set a Sherrif's sale for my home that my child, pets and I have owned since having it built in 2002. They are a pain in the but and have the worst customer service. I totally believe they scam me. And I have researched that they make more money on foreclosures and short sales so don't want to work with me. They actually like many other financial companies get the difference from the Federal Govt on the close of the foreclusre or short sale. But they would not match the funds for the Hardist Hit program and refused it when it was sent by the underwriter's to them! Please complain to the FTC and your State REgulatory Division for Mortgages. They are all over the county. Started in NJ, then Oklahoma City, OK, and offices in CA. The more complaints the better to get the FTC to do something about this! There are similar complaints all over the web about this company!

Sorry to hear Judge Gorcyca, Rodney Yeaker, Referee Patrick Cronin are all guilty of treating parents and children like second class citizens. You may have had a similar situation.
i did speak with an attorney who works in front of Judge Gorcyca and is personal friends of hers. She claimed Judge Gorcyca goes about 50/50 when it comes to favoring fathers or mothers. However, she told me in her office that she has watched Rodney Yeaker and Patrick Cronin break the law during sessions in their rooms outside the courtroom. She was one who told me that it never goes well for a woman with these two and that Rodney Yeaker indeed broke the law along with Cronin on my case with my first attorney.
certain attorneys fare better in court too! There is way too much corruption in the court system in my opinion. The Oakland County Friend of the Court is run by a woman who is uncaring with a personal agenda too!
There needs to be a complete cleansing of the Oakland County Court and "FOC"! Unfortunately, while many people like LBrooks Patterson, who is in charge of Oakland County, he needs to go also! And the Oakland County Commissioners all play a role in what is happening! I was at a political event and heard a FOC female Referre who was running for judge bragging that less than 3% of her cases went in front of the judge! That tells me that the Referres and Judges do not care about families! Unfortunately, the goal of the courts seems to fall in line with Progressive a Big Government and UN Agenda 21. The government wants to run our children's lives and parents are viewed as an obstacle! Good luck!
