Blackberry Curve just 9 months usage, but having trackball issues that make the phone a hassle. NOTE: Blackberry is no longer using the trackball (numerous online blogs note problems with functionality).

So, I, a longterm VW customer attempt to get a new phone at the Reading store. Unfortunality they want > $100 to replace my phone with the new (same phone no trackball) model. I don't have the cash--they could help me, the 10 year customer out but do not. Instead they replace the trackball and I go home and ball/ring just pops out. Call to VW customer svc and I am finally acknowledged as a customer and will be mailed a new phone for around $21. Sadly I would never buy a phone this soon but my blackberry has the "old school" useless trackball technology. And my battery doesn't charge well/hold charge. I'm not a perfect and timely customer (I tend to pay EOM). But, I should not be responsible for defective technology. Thank you to CS Tammy for selling me the replacement for my edsel. I appreciate her help, and hope my trackball stays on track (or at least inside the phone) till my smoky violet arrives. To my dear VW (and from a former employee) I hope you have more people like Tammy in your midst as these kind, efficient, and fair people will keep your customers aa the competition ramps up.
