I am not associated with Verizon however, I have experienced billing issues with Verizon that have been particularly difficult to deal with. I am aware of F.B.I. involvement with Verizon and reports of Gambino crime family involvement in cramming schemes and billing fraud. Many times now, this issue has been brought up on sites such as www.clarkhoward.com.
On September 19 of 2007 and again on September 19 of 2008 I was billed for numerous uses of "directory assistance" calls. Interestingly enough, I can prove where I was on these occasions. On September 19 of 2008, I was working in a Verizon facility at Oakbrook Parkway in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. There were 9 incidents of directory assistance calls. 7 occurred while I was at the Oakbrook Parkway location and 2 afterword. The 2 later incidents are also in question because they each occurred while I was at a local business wherein I kept a cash register receipt with a time and date stamp.
Progress was had only after I filed a series of complaints with the Federal Communications Commission and apparently upset some folks at Verizon. Awwwww...too bad! I have also followed F.B.I. reports over the last 3 years about the connection between the Gambino crime family and Verizon. The Gambinos gained access to Verizon billing data via a very bad move on the part of Verizon management. Verizon's management were not at all unaware of what they were doing.
Verizon has tried to make themselves appear as innocent victims when they themselves are in bed with the mob. I am one who will refuse to pay extortion fees to a criminal enterprise.
It is my understanding that a member of Verizon's management team outsourced the residential and business billing to a Gambino owned front company. Verizon wants everyone to think the mob is alone in their criminal enterprise of billing fraud. No, that is incorrect. Verizon is a criminal enterprise.

I was a Verizon customer for over 2 years...due to the length of the contract. We had 2 phones on a family plan and every month when the bill came it would be wrong...usually around $1,000..when it was supposed to be $90. We would have to call and argue with them over the amount....for hours at a time some months and multiple phone calls. We were supposed to have mobile to mobile for free, then found out it can only be used in certain areas. Thank God our nightmare with them is over.
