I worked as an authorized Verizon Wireless Dealer for Radio Shack, until I was fired today. Radio Shack carried both Sprint and Verizon. I had been having problems with my account since Day 1.

First, my deadbeat Verizon Representative for my district would not contact me to set up the account, I had to go about it by other means. Then, my package which included text messages would not let me send or receive them. Once again, the Rep was deadbeat and would not return my calls. After I contacted customer care and accused them of contract breach, only then did it get fixed.

Finally, I upgraded my phone, a $90 upgrade and I got charged $200 for it, my phone was shut off except for receiving calls. I tried my Verizon Rep again, once again no answer. I called customer care, but apparently since I worked for them I was not subject to the same level of customer care as a regular customer, if such a thing even exists.

I moved on to Corporate, who did not reply back to me until 2 weeks later, until I had already opened an account with Sprint. I had left a personal greeting on my old Verizon phone saying they've reached me and referred them to my new sprint number because Verizon was full of crap and couldn't take care of me so I switched.

2 days later, the president of Verizon called my phone while it was sitting in a desk drawer and heard the message, called my regional director and requested my termination of employment, which the company accepted. As a recap, I got overcharged, my phone shut off, a ding on my credit report, and further more lost my job because of Verizon's inability to exert any amount of care to my needs.

Their company is crooked and cost me more than they can imagine. Not to mention that today, hours after my termination, the Verizon Representative for my district, called me to indulge in my termination. So after I lost everything, they had to rub it in one last time.

I will never do business with them again, and neither will my friends or family, and I am going to post this circumstance on every wireless consumer report that I can find.
