Verizon Wireless sold defective phone, would not exchange, breached contract by not providing proper service. Rip-off! Orangeburg New York
Verizon sold me the Motorola v60c in which the antenna kept breaking off. After several times going back and getting it fixed I demanded they exchange the phone for one of equal value.
Every time the antenna broke off I lost all communication with my clients and I had to hurry over to Verizon, which also took time out of my busy schedule.
Verizon refused to exchange the phone and said I had to keep going back to fix the antenna. They admitted this was a common problem with the antenna but I could no longer afford loosing business.
I payed off all of the sevice fees I used and cancelled the contract. They in turn charged me for the cancellation fee and I got stuck with two (six month) old phones.
I refuse to pay the cancellation fee and I have decided to file suit against Verizon. I am currently with Sprint and have the Samsung i330 which has a sturdy antenna with absolutley no problems.

Of course Verizon would not have exchanged a phone with a broken antenna. You obviously broke it off and expected a free exchange, as you were too cheap to just buy a $10.00 antenna replacement. An antenna doesn't just break off by itself. And on another note, the reason you were charged an early termination fee was because you cancelled before your contract was up. This was all explained in the agreement you signed. It isn't fair making claims against a company, no matter what their size when you have no basis for your argument. I could care less about Verizon Wireless or any large company, but your claims are completely bogus and outrageous.
