I had the same problem as len. Called Verizon MANY times re: a charge for "downloads" at $9.99 apiece x SEVEN charges in one day! Verizon would not credit me, stating that these charges had to be generated by the user of the cell phone. They provided me with the name of the company that was billing me thru Verizon ("distributive Network"), but could not provide me with any info on how to contact this bogus company. After repeated calls to Verizon, I finally filed a report with the better business bureau and with the FCC. Amazing! Verizon reversed the charges within approx. 1-2 weeks of my FCC filing. Now I go thru those 17 page bills with a fine tooth comb. arrongant people. no customer service. can't get out of the contract. try to mess with me! ha.
