Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
They charge $15.00 per phone if you have your phone shut off due to being (broke, no money, hard times etc). They don't care if you have been a customer for 5 years they charge the fees anyway.  They don't care if you can barely pay their outrageous charges as it is and then charge you more money on top of it to turn your phones back on!! They even sneak in charges like data that you don't even use when you accidentally hit a button on your phone and it starts to connect to the web but never entirely connects!! They construct their billing invoices is a way to confuse people especially when you have multiple lines! I had one customer service agent (man) who was very condescending to me when explaining the billing process is very simple and that If I just go over it every month I should see what extra charges I'm incurring and that Verizon is very reasonable etc bla bla bla! Bunch of bull crap! I'm done with them! I am paying the feeeees to get out of Verizon contract next month and getting straight talk for $45.00 per month which includes unlimited everything including 411 calls and data, texts etc!!!!DONE!

Broke? No money? Hard times?

While Verizon DOES have its faults...your complaint lacks merit.

If you are indeed as broke, without money, and have fallen on hard times as you indicate you are...then WHY would you have MULTIPLE phone lines, text messaging, and/or any data plan in the first place?  If you cannot afford to pay your existing plan bill with Verizon, then you should NOT be adding on the "frills!"

There are NO phone carriers I know of who do not charge re-connection fees if your service is turned off for non-payment of your bill.  If you think that going with Straight Talk will be really great...I suggest you check around the various consumer complaint reporting websites.  There are quite a lot of complaints regarding THAT phone service!
