We visited Verizon with a Moto Droid phone that would not turn off or show a screen. The salesperson said the software had shorted and the phone was junk. He stated the phone insurance would not cover this damage, so we needed a new phone. The wife was talked into a $900 9s phone. When I saw the Moto phone I thought it just needed a reboot. I held the vol and on/off keys and the phone rebooted and works fine. So we were sold a phone we did not need and lied to about the insurance not covering the software problem.
