Versa Debt Cardmember Services (and Others) THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE CALLING THROUGH THEIR AUTOMATED SYSTEM!!! Marietta Georgia
There are no laws stating that I must be polite to unsolicited calls to my phone number registered in the DNC listing. Versa Debt may be using an automated dialing system, however a test of whether or not they know what number was dialed showed me that they DO know.
One evening I was phoned by this company, despite my number being on the DNC listing for years. This one call in particular, I had fun. I verbally blew up on the ignorant black woman on the other end of the phone. I called her a slew of names, and even got in touch with my inner bigot, calling her the N word among others. Aparently this got her goat...
I had no idea which company I was dealing with. After hanging up on this black woman (after my tirade), the ignorant black woman called me back 9 times in under 11 minutes. They claim they do not know what number their automated dialer has called, but this test proved they DO know what number they have called, as was evidenced by this black woman's subsequent harassment. The first time the b**ch called back, she said "your wife is a w***e" and hung up on me. After that, 8 more abusive calls came through. You would think that after my initial tirade that it would be CLEAR to this company that I did not appreciate any communications from them, but leave it up to an ignorant black woman to show blatent ignorance by harassing me in return!
I did a *57 after each of these calls to my home residence, have filed a police report with my local PD for telecommunications harassment, I have filed a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Comission, the Alabama Attorney General, and the Georgia Attorney General. I am awaiting the local PD's investigator's findings, as are the AG's in Georgia (the State where the calls originated) and in Alabama (the State where the phone calls were made to).
If I can do anything about these jerks calling me over the course of several years, I hope it will be done by at least one of the agencies I have contacted about this.
DO NOT believe them when they say that they don't know what number their automated system has dialed. If this were really the case, the ignorant black woman I cursed up one side and down the other would not have had my phone number to call me back and subsequently harass me after I hung up on her! Leave it up to racism to obtain the answer to the true questions....
