Video Game Repair Service provides awful service on internet from Swoyersville, Pennsylvania
This firm has a very poor attitude and worse service. While I was initially pleased because my Xbox with RROD failure was returned quickly, it went RROD again immediately. I returned it for repair again per their stated warranty, and when I received it back the second time it worked for only an hour or two and the RROD was back.
Naturally, I didn't want to keep shipping it back at $15 a pop (UPS fee CA to PA) just to see when I would get lucky, so I e-mailed the vendor. They were immediately very snippy and had an unfriendly attitude. They offered no accomodation, no compromise. Just send it in again or don't. After weeks of waiting for responses to my e-mails (they prefer to just ignore their customers), I finally got them to agree to a partial refund, but it was like pulling teeth. I had offered several compromises, but they were all rebuffed or ignored.
Despite the partial refund, I'm still very unhappy, because I've wasted well over $50 and still do not have a functioning box. From other comments I've seen, it looks like most boxes do get fixed, but if you happen to be unlucky, don't expect any help or sympathy from these folks. They clearly regard their customers with disdain.
