Mike Arrigo with Noah's Restoration contracted to mitigate water damage and do the necessary repairs to our Master bedroom shower after a leak. Mr. Arrigo told us that he worked with a qualified tile setter that could do the work. We found out later that he was not qualified, nor was Mike Arrigo. During the process, we were without hot water in our home for 4 days, had to continually clean up after him, constantly tried to show him potential problems in the workmanship, only to be yelled at and have him throw a tantrum in our home. He didn't complete the work. Natural stone products were not sealed, the room was not primed or painted, the tile job was inferior, he did not replace the shower door, baseboards were not replaced, (some were lost) the glass block window in the shower was scratched so badly during the process that it must be replaced. The faucets that were installed were missing pieces. The tile job was done so poorly that we had 3 professional tile setters come out and assess the job and they all 3 concurred that there was absolutely no way to repair the work, and because of the amateur fashion in the way the tile was applied that there was a good chance that the foundation was not repaired properly either. Upon tearing out the tile, we found that the foundation was done so poorly that the shower most definitely would have leaked again.
After trying numerous times to work this out, Mr. Arrigo filed an unnecessary restraining order against my husband and has filed a lawsuit against us for more money than the original insurance claim was for. Most of the monies that he is requesting are for work that wasn't even performed.
He refuses to acknowledge that there were problems in the workmanship of the shower.
He has also contacted our realtor and made defamatory statements about us. He has gone into our local bank and made derogatory statements, and contacted our insurance agent and told him that we committed insurance fraud!
