On 12-30-14 last year, I ordered an item from Vinted.com in the amount of $21.99. It was deducted the next day from My bank account on 12-31-14. I did not receive the item. I emailed several times to their Customer Service Dept and they finally sent Me an email saying that it is true, the unreliable seller of theirs didnt ship it. They told Me on 1-15-15 in an email that they refunded the $21.99 on 1-12-15 @ 7:43pm to the Credit Card I used to charge the item. I quickly wrote them another email saying that Card was closed on 1-6-15 and can they send Me a check in the amount of $21.99? They insisted I got the money. How could I have gotten the money if the account was closed on 1-6-15 and they refunded My money on 1-12-15? My Banker told Me He saw the refund had come in but the bank refused and rejected the refund because the Credit Card was closed out. The money went back to Vinted. There has been "40" emails back and forth to these unknowledgeable Customer Service Girls who give Me story after story. Once one out of the three said: "I can credit You a credit voucher of $15.00 to settle this." $15.00? I paid $21.99! And I no longer buy from that scamming site. I have repeatedly asked for their Company to just mail Me out a check. They have refused. I first bought on that site last year in about the month of October and never realized this seller scammed Me over $100 worth of selling Me fake jewelry until it was too late. They refuse refunds once You say You received the item, and I'm not a jewelry expert, so I didn't think I had been scammed until I went in to get a watch battery replaced and had the bracelet ($75.00) and one of the 2 rings on ($20 for both rings) The stones are fake. The silver is a coating of 925 silver from China. This seller continues to sell on this site. The site does not regulate any of their sellers.

I ordered a few things before Christmas which were less money from a different seller who looked honest, and received items in damaged and stained conditions this time from the seller. The seller swears they sent it clean and that You, as the buyer, stained it (basically calling You a liar). I have contacted the Better Business Bureau today as well as this site. I am hoping people do not trust the sellers on this site and get scammed like I did. I have yet to receive the measly $21.99, but it's the principal of how poorly the site is run and operated and how unfair they are treating Me.   40 emails???   Rediculous and unheard of.... It's just all about the money percentage wise, what they take from the sellers. Nothing of quality is sold on there I'm afraid.

Vinted.com: NO WONDER! NOT AN AMERICAN COMPANY

This is an update to the report I submitted 2 weeks ago about an on-going problem with Vinted.Com website:

After submitting My unresolvable report here at Rip-Off about this scamming Company, I also filed a report with the BBB on-line in California with the address Vinted.com provides the internet. It turns out that the address is bogus! They are a Company not even "located in the USA!" They are located in Lithuania!

Since using the BBB to try to get My $21.99 U.S. dollars back from their incompetent Company, I read on the internet they have had so many complaints from Americans getting ripped off that they ordered the Post Office out in California to forward the BBB's letter back with an "Undeliverable" yellow sticker on the letter.

BBB contacted Me by mail and said if I know of a different address they can forward the letter to, to please get in touch with them. I researched again, and the only address known for Vinted is the bogus California one.

There are BBB bureaus out of the country, but, that is a big ordeal to start back and forth.
