VIP Kars Selling Junk Disguised as Gold Marietta Georgia
In November 2014 I was helping my daughter look for a car and I happened on the website of VIP Kars in Marietta, Ga. She had a budget of $13,000 out the door and I was thrilled when I found a 2012 Kia Forte that was priced at $10,800 out the door. The Kia had 44k miles and a perfectly clean Carfax report.
We were all super excited as my daughter had already been qualified for a loan at her credit union. Her credit union also had access to Auto Check a service they use to make sure all is well with an automobile they are going to finance. After they ran their checks, they called my daughter and told her that they had found the Kia to have been TOTALLED and rebuilt. My daughter called the salesman at VIP Kars and only got a 'we didn't know that' kind of response. Evidently, the salvage title can be 'cleaned' by multiple sales in several different states which this car had experienced.
If she had not needed financing or had gotten financing through VIP Kars she would be driving a piece of junk that might not have been safe at all disguised as a golden deal.
I would avoid this dealership as they either are unethical or unprofessional not to know their business any better
