The product being sold as WP remix is an Incomplete product.

It should by no means be sold as a software product. It is being marketed fraudulently.

WP remix is being pitched as A CMS, which it is clearly not.

After purchasing the product the developer himself admits it is incomplete. It is unlikely the product will ever be complete and most likely the developer will simply pocket profits from unsuspecting consumers.

The product is being sold by aggressive affiliate marketing. Publishers should avoid affiliating with this product as it may in turn damage your reputation as a publisher.

Whist using a purchased copy of WP remix i ran in to a string of technical problems that the developer seem disinterested in addressing.

Any site produced with the product will end up a shambles of code and mess of technical errors. Not only that, most of the site produced with this product will not reside inside a database as a CMS driven site should. It is simply static pages connected to the CMS.

Terrible product. Dishonest Developer.

Avoid it.

Anon...Your negative & vindictive complaint about WP Remix is grossly unwarranted

It is not being marketed purely as a CMS from a database perspective. Everything WP Remix does is fully explained on the home page. Anyone that is familiar with Wordpress will understand that it is still a blogging system. WP Remix gives you the ability to use dozens of layout pages to make your site function as an actual WEBSITE, not just a blog. It gives you the ability to decide which pages contain blog posts and which pages should be static informational pages. Yes, some free themes let you do that as well..BUT not with the same power and control as WP Remix lets you have. I use WP Remix and everything is fine. Yes there is a bit of learning to do. It's not a one-two punch out of the box. If you happen to earn a salary the equivalent of $2 an hour, then maybe WP Remix is not for you. I earn $30 an hour. So for me, saving a few hours of time by spending $75 on WP remix is well worth it. I'm sorry if you had a bad experience. But have you checked your own hosting server to see if it's compatible? Have you checked to make sure that your version of Wordpress is the latest up-to-date version? These things all play a significant role. WP Remix comes with dozens of layout pages you can use for home pages, inner pages, blog pages, gallery only pages, etc. I would suggest the following to get the most out of WP Remix: 1...Spend a half hour reading through the documentation. 2...If you're unsure of something, then spend another hour or so on the support forums. 3...Don't make any changes or customizations yet. 4...Create a page for EACH layout page available. Name each one appropriately. There are a dozen or so home page layouts. So name each page H1, H2, H3...you get the idea. repeta this step for Blog pages (B1, B2, B3) and gallery pages (G1, G2, G3) and so on. 5...This will take up another hour, but it will REALLY give you a good idea of each page layout available and what it looks like. Once you've created all the pages, you will see that when you visit your site's homepage, all these individual page links will be there. You can then easily map out which page layouts you like, which ones will work best for your content, etc. After you get a good grasp of the layouts available and how they function, you can then begin building and customizing your site. But don't go bashing this because YOU couldn't get it to work. WP Remix works just fine, especially if you take the time to prepare the mapping of your site, the look and feel, and browse through the documentation. If you've had such a horrible experience, it may be a sign that there is a problem on your end as well. Don't be so quick to blame the software. There can be many reasons for your issues, including your own hosting service.
