VistaPrint ripoff Overcharged my credit card by $35.00 (more than double the merchandise I ordered) Massachusetts
As I am starting a new business I thought that it was important to order business cards for self-promotion. I received an email from Vistaprint proclaiming $4.99 for 250 business cards and $0.99 for glossy printing.
Thinking this was a great deal I went online, designed my cards and proceeded to checkout. Everything was fine I then entered my shipping information and the prices had doubled to $9.99 for 250 cards and $4.99 for glossy printing. I backed out of everything thinking perhaps it was a glitch and sure enough when I went through the checkout again everything was back to normal. I entered my credit card information and once processed I received an order confirmation with total charges of $56.43; $29.99 for 250 business cards, $19.99 for glossy printing; and the remainder for services I never ordered.
I called customer support and was told that since it was an online order nothing could be done, needless to say that did not go over well with me. Their next offer was a $4.00 merchandise credit! No refund on the credit card, but by golly I could by $4.00 worth of merchandise from them in the future. After several more unacceptable offers I finally had had enough and just wanted the order cancelled, to which I was told that there would be a charge for that!
I have just finished talking with my credit card company and they are taking care of the matter right now and thankfully I no longer have to deal with these scam artists.
