Visual Credit Counseling, Inc rip-off! Tucson Arizona
I joined Visual Credit in March 2003 with the credit counseler saying I would decrease interest and payments with my 7 creditors. I paid my first installment (800.00), and also had to pay $7.00 for each creditor per month. Little did I know that the 800.00 was never sent out, even after I asked the counseler for fees and he only told me about the $7.00.
After 4 months and still getting harrassing calls from my creditor who said that either they had not accepted the proposal, or never got one, I ended up refinancing my home to get rid of my credit (and Visual Credit). They would not refund the 800. Because of them, my interest rate on the mortgage was over 2% higher than it should have been and my credit rating was at 500. How can they continue to do business.
